Specific Applications of Tension Controllers in Coil Production
During the winding and unwinding of the coil, the diameter of the coil drum will vary, directly affecting the tension of the entire coil. Tension controllers maintain a constant tension, thus improving coil quality.
Based on their function, tension controllers can be mainly divided into two types:
Manual Controllers: These control systems lack tension sensors. Specific parameters are manually adjusted to optimize the torque between the magnetic powder brake and clutch. This type of control requires manual monitoring of the entire coil operation, and its accuracy and stability are slightly lower than automatic tension controllers.
Automatic Controller
This type of controller features a tension sensor, enabling real-time monitoring, feedback, and adjustment throughout the entire roll material production process, thus improving the precision of the entire production process.
Whether in the roll material manufacturing industry or in the production of other types of products, the use of tension controllers helps manufacturers better monitor the entire production process and improve the quality of the produced products. Therefore, it is essential for manufacturers to carefully consider the application of tension controllers when selecting appropriate production equipment.
