Even when measuring the same quantity, the underlying principles can vary considerably. When selecting a sensor, consider the specific characteristics of the measured physical quantity and the application conditions, such as the required measurement range, the volume of the measured substance, or the signal extraction method. A comprehensive consideration of various factors before selecting a suitable sensor is more reliable.
Equipment Sensitivity Selection
Regardless of the type of physical quantity being measured, within the detection range of the tension sensor, higher sensitivity is generally desirable. This is because the higher the sensitivity of the entire device, the larger the corresponding output signal value, and the higher the subsequent accuracy. However, it should be noted that the sensitivity is also related to the mixing of ambient noise, which needs to be carefully considered during measurement.
Device Frequency Response Characteristics
In the process of measurement using a tension sensor, the actual characteristics of the sensor's frequency response directly determine the required detection frequency range. Generally, the detection frequency range should be measured without distortion, and the entire detection device will have a certain delay; the shorter the delay, the better.
In addition, when selecting a sensor, attention should also be paid to the size of the linear range of the entire device and the stability of the device during use. Only in this way can the selected device obtain more accurate results in actual testing, making the entire measurement process smoother.
