How to deal with deviation during film production and cutting

Web alignment controllers are frequently used in the production of sheet and roll materials. Their main purpose is to better control the standardization of the entire production process, improving production quality. This is also true for the production of materials like plastic films. During film production, slippage can occur during the winding process, causing the entire roll to deviate from its designated path. During film slitting, the following methods can be used to correct the deviation:

If a deviation occurs in the slitting position during film roll slitting, resulting in substandard quality, immediately stop the machine and adjust the relevant data. If the deviation occurs during roll material processing, analyze and address the underlying causes of the deviation.

For issues such as lateral film shift caused by excessively narrow products, overly tight lamination during the coating process, or subsequent loosening of the roll and air ingress leading to layer misalignment, adjusting the winding tension can improve the deviation problem.

Furthermore, the overall cutting speed of the roll material also affects the final slitting quality. Generally, for roll materials with high smoothness, appropriately slowing down the cutting speed during the cutting process after production can effectively improve the problem of roll material deviation.

The main function of the deviation correction controller is to control the accuracy of roll and film materials during the production process and reduce the probability of deviation. The slitting stage is mainly related to factors such as the slitting equipment and whether the personnel are operating according to regulations. Therefore, it is evident that in the production and processing of roll materials, regardless of the process used, attention to detail is crucial to ensure product quality.
